I Have Grown...This Much!
It's happening...the growth spurt at one month. Jack Bixler is starting to elongate and pack on the pounds. I'm thinking 6'5", 220 lbs.
It seems like for every ounce he adds we are getting one hour less sleep. It's a pretty sweet deal. I actually went out for drinks on Saturday and my hangover had nothing on the Sunday sleep deprivation.

Breakfast of Champions
Jack likes to eat. Feasting on stuffed dinosaurs is not beyond him, but the regular diet is a tad more pedestrian. Lately, Jack has introduced us to a new little infant behavioral pattern: the 7 to midnight fuss-o-rama. His parents couldn't be happier.

Spit Up...and TWINS!
Today Jack got the best present ever: TWINS! Harper and Lucy came to visit Jack one day before their 3 month birthday. In a nursery floor scene shamelessly staged for goofy photo-snapping parental newbies, Jack is so flustered by the tantalizing advances of the White twins that he promptly spits up all over himself.
You can check out the hotter side of the twins at Harper & Lucy's Blog.

More Video....Yes, This is for an Audience of Maybe Four
I couldn't resist. I'm waking up to a whole new world of the "internet".

Ahhh...Content
This is all a dad looks for in a newborn..yawns followed by protracted poops. Jack gives us a quiet wheeze of content in this clip to save you the BM niceties.
Welcome to the Club!
Yesterday Jack got a new playmate and maybe even one day a girlfriend, and by that of course I mean a friend that is a girl. Lola Christine Buitron (pictured here center, in utero) was born around 3PM and weighed 8lbs 8 ounces.
Many congrats to mama Eva and papa Chris!

Imagine the Girth
We're all wondering what the size our boy will be when it enters the world. As it stands now, the doctor is saying the baby seems "average" based on her scientific measurements of the circumference of Kelly's belly. HAH! I just don't believe it. I was 11 pounds, 1 ounce and measured 23 inches at birth.
And for those who doubt my own height relative to the normal world, here is picture from our recent visit to Japan. I am standing next to a family sedan that easily fits 6.

Welcome to Our World
This little gem of blog will serve a couple of purposes: update family/friends with pics and news of the impending arrival of Nathan Jr., begin the growth of my cyberego, and really just end up being a waste of time for its creator and the shameless few who peruse its contents.
WHY TALLDADDY? Very little reason, it turns out. Ms. Eileen Smith of In The Pink Texas fame is my cyber hero, and she thought of this name while flossing. The other primary contender was "Crazy for Gravy" which will stand as a hollow shell dedicated to the concept of getting "a little something extra" in life, or lagniappe if you're down with that term.
Oh yeah, and I'm 6'9" and about to have offspring.
