Jack on the Big Screen

Dad's been getting a little crazy with iMovie.

But after a weekend of monkeying around with the computer I was able to stitch together this magnum opus for your viewing pleasure:



Jack is getting to the point now that he recognizes pictures of himself (in addition to striking a pose for the camera whenever possible). When he first watched this movie, he started cackling like a caged hyiena during the segment where he first says "Da Da".

Tall Parents? Hah!

Kelly was reading through Parents magazine this evening and came across an ad for an umbrella stroller for tall parents who "want the convenience of a lightweight, inexpensive buggy without the back pain." This product is brought to us by the folks over at www.tallparents.com.

They've got nothing on TallDaddy. 6'4" and 5'11"? Come on!

It time for me to get serious about my blog...well, maybe next week.

No more lying around and watching the Jacker out of the corner of the eye with a cup of morning coffee.

Hiatus Schmiatus

OK OK, ye faithful readers (all 3 of you)...it has been quite some time since a post. But its all about Jack, right?

Well as you can clearly see, he is evolving just fine. Seen here eating poker cards after a Father's Day brunch at Aunt Kasey's.

Current stats as of today: 20.5 lbs and 28 inches...and obviously growing.

Jack looks confused, but don't let the picture fool you. He was one happy camper this weekend having his cousins from Iowa to kick around the nursery. Amanda (11) did a surperb job babysitting (literally, better than we ourselves can muster) and Conner (6) ensured projectiles were always flying around the house that could at anytime come crashing down on little Jack's head.

How could we avoid a shameless tourist stop to the old Alamo while we were in town visiting our I-35 compadres Ross and Belen?

OK, so the fidelity of the video leaves a lot to be desired but concentrate heavily and you will notice the big white fluffy cascading down on the Bonham Terrace compound. This doesn't happen in South Texas and certainly not in my front yard. Jack loved it.

What's Been Going On...

MERRY NEW YEAR FOLKS. A lot has transpired since my last post and it is painfully obvious that keeping this blog thing going will take more than a casual effort.

Christmas merriment happened...


Jack participated in another gratuitous baby lineup (this time with Lola and Eli)...


Jack got a visit from my friend Brian from Tokyo via Houston...


We got to ring in the New Year and Freddy & Eileen's (while Jack slept in the back room)...


...AND all the while Jack continues to gorge himself on the mommy juice...
